A week ago friday, FNL hit the road and joined in with over 1000 other teenagers from all across Cape Town at Hillsong Church at an event that is fast becoming a highlight on the calendar called Cape Town United. The vision of these evenings is to create moments where the youth of our city come together in unity to worship passionately and to be encouraged to turn the tide in our various communities, all under the one common denominator of Jesus Christ. Things of denomination, theological differences and histories have been put aside as Jesus and Jesus alone is the banner that we believe we have been called to lift high over our city.
And last week, the vision became a reality as the building was quite literally almost burnt to the ground with raw passion as teen after teen lifted their hands and hearts in allegiance and adoration to the King! People were saved, dreams were birthed and a generation that has long been written off is slowly being roused from it's sleepy state!
