This is our time!

Term Two of 2012 is upon us and this Friday night, FNL is back with a BANG! The incredible story of teenagers having their lives turned upside down by Jesus and determining to live for Him and for others continues and gathers momentum as we are becoming more and more convinced that

we were born for such a time as this!

A Crazy start...

2010 saw the start of a revolution: a small group of young people coming together and deciding to go crazy for God: and so FNL was birthed. A redhead who wasn’t too sure what he was doing, a few seasoned youth leaders and one slightly manic security gaurd(Tyler) and so the rollercoaster ride began: With a hope and a dream to see the young people of Tableview changed and the kingdom of God absolutely blowing open hearts. From that humble start the end of 2010 saw A prom which housed close on a hundred teenagers: we had accomplished our mission!!!

....and so 2011 began: high spirits and passionate hearts ready to tackle a new year! Moving into a new venue(right next door) presented some interesting challenges and so in an exceptionally strategic move from none other than Mr. Phillips himself we moved back into the FNL hall-known on a Friday as ‘’the place to be’’ and known on a Sunday as the coffee bar. God took us on some radical journeys as we had the privelage of seeing countless lives changed by the indescribable power of Jesus Christ: ending the year with another Prom filled with a family of people 100% sold out for their King and possibly a few under age visitors: we had accomplished our mission!!!

...and NOW 2012 has arrived and it has started with an absolute bang: our first Friday sporting a capacity crowd getting ready to kick off a year that is already blowing our minds and is going to continue to do so......

The love, passion and fire that is shared among the family of FNL is something that excites me more than Zac Efron partnering with Hannah Montana in a battle of the bands featuring the Jonas Brothers! 2012 has started with a bang so get ready to see FNL taken where it’s never been before......why?.......because we serve JESUS!

A new way to speak

2012 is here and this Friday night we have our explosive youth launch! If you're new and this Friday will be your first time hanging with us, here are a few catch phrases that you can shout out at random during the night that will make you feel at home very quickly:

*"AWESOOOOME!"

-made famous by Daniella Campos, this word (has to be said loudly, with the most emphasis on the last syllable) has become the rallying cry of many FNL gameshows, the end to a really great testimony and if said with a slight sarcastic tone, can be used even just when someone does something stupid.

*"Big jols"

-The answer you give to anyone who asks what happens/happened/going to happen at FNL

*"Jig Bols"

-The answer you give to anyone who asks what happens/happened/going to happen at FNL...when you're feeling a little extra crazy (for Chris Lainis that's all the time)

*"Shofire"

-Term of agreement, if something was understood

Usage in a sentence:

Question "Did Tyler mess up bible quiz again"

Answer "Shofire"

*"Lanac Klaw"

-Any word can be, and as often as possible, said backwards. This word above is a popular shopping mall that FNL people tend to hangout at.

Many more will enter your vocabulary this year, but these five are a good start!
